About Keau Manu Aviary
Keau Manu Aviary was founded to help with the crucial work of preserving avian species in American Aviculture.
Nestled on a secluded vista in the hills of Tennessee, Keau Manu Aviary promotes responsible breeding, care, and handling of such protected species as Eclectus, Blue-Belled Roller, Red-crested Turaco, Green Aracari, Citron-crested Cockatoo and Violaceous Turaco
Working in concert with the Associationof Zoos and Aquariums on their Species Survival Programs and other such initiatives, we endeavor to help preserve endangered and threatened species.
Every facet of our work in American Aviculture preservation is informed by our steadfast desire to maintain a population that is free from the threat of poaching and extinction. As views and laws change in the United States and the world, we continue to be a beacon, a voice, and an advocate for endangered avian species.
We proudly serve as home to an incredible array of birds that serve as species ambassadors at zoos and aquariums, as well as others who serve the vital purpose of backup population to species that are disappearing in the wild.
